Electric Yes Crucible Terms & Conditions

Access to and use of Electric Yes (including any courses, training material, forum, and tutorials) (‘the Service’) within the USA, UK and internationally is provided by Carolyn Elliott LLC (‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’) on the following Terms and Conditions. 

By using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which shall take effect immediately on your first use of the Service. If you do not agree to be bound by all of the following Terms and Conditions please do not access, use and/or contribute to the Service.

  1. You agree that this container is a Crucible of ego-death transformation conducive to occult initiation into integrated union with the Higher Self, and that events, conversations, rituals, and practices within the Crucible are designed to “turn up the heat” on your limiting, conditioned stories and views of self and other so that you can release them. You understand that this process is, by its very nature, uncomfortable and challenging.

  2. You agree that you are an emotionally mature, self-responsible adult, who can handle your own emotional, physical, and medical care. You understand that no psychological or medical care is offered to me here in this container and that you are at all times responsible for caring for your own needs and well-being.

  3. You agree that participating in and learning from this alchemical work does not qualify me or give me permission to teach it as your own. You understand that it’s fine and normal to share about your own learnings and experiences with others outside of the Crucible while giving appropriate reference and credit to Carolyn and other Crucible leaders for ideas and practices shared with me.

  4. You agree that you are financially capable and are committed and obligated to pay the membership fees for this container for a full 12 months, no matter if you decide to stop participating, are removed for disparagement or demonization, feel finished with the Work, don’t have time for the Work, or disagree with views expressed by Carolyn, other container leaders, or staff.

  5. You know that while you are financially committed and obligated to pay the membership fees for this container for a full 12 months, in extreme circumstances arrangements can be made for alternative payment plans and you can contact electricyes@carolynelliottpresents.com to ask for arrangements for situations of extreme and sudden financial limitation.

  6. You understand that in alchemical work it’s normal to experience projection, idolization, and demonization of Carolyn, other Crucible leaders, and staff at times. You agree to practice fully owning your emotions, idolization, projections, expectations, demonizations, disparagements in all forum posts and communications with Carolyn and staff as part of doing the work of examining and transforming your own patterns.

  7. You agree that you understand you are here to work on dismantling your conditioned stories and self-definitions in order to fully embody your divinity at erotic, somatic, incarnate levels.

  8. You agree that you will practice happily and consistently applying the Axioms of Existential Kink and Existential Kink practice and attitudes to your day-to-day experiences and to your experiences in the Crucible.

  9. You agree that you are entering this space in order to practice giving an Electric Yes to all dimensions of your life and experience of the world.

  10. You understand that Crucible is a spiritual container wherein subjects are discussed from a spiritual viewpoint that may not align with your political or social views and that you are responsible for holding yourself through your reactions to your disagreements.

  11. You understand that Hermeticism and the Western esoteric traditions are syncretic, cosmopolitan, integrative traditions that synthesize Hebrew, Egyptian, Greek, Indian, Babylonian, and many other influences from around the world. You understand that this is not a space for identity politics and that here debates about “cultural appropriation” in Hermeticism and magick are not welcome and are recognized as reifying of conditioned cultural identities and counterproductive to the nondual, integrative aim of spiritual work.

  12. You understand that Crucible draws upon the work of Aleister Crowley, a controversial figure in tantric Hermeticism. You affirm that you can work with the general view of Carolyn and Crucible leadership that while Aleister Crowley was limited in his own views and actions, his work and the work of others in the Hermetic canon carries great value and genius from which we can learn.

  13. You understand that you are promised absolutely no “results” by Crucible and that your transformation is utterly your own responsibility as no one can do the Great Work for me.

  14. In order to communicate in good faith this space where you can give an Electric Yes to all dimensions of your life, you agree to practice noticing whenever you are mentally occupying any position on the Drama Triangle (Victim, Rescuer, Persecutor), using tools of self-inquiry to step out of the Drama Triangle, and communicating from an empowered state of mind wherein you acknowledge yourself as the co-creator of all of your experiences and reflect upon all your interactions as a mirror of your own consciousness through which you can gain knowledge of the shadow patterns and hooks.

  15. You understand that while people of all genders and ancestries are welcomed and respected in the Crucible, this is not “a safe space.” This is a challenging alchemical space meant to dissolve conditioned social identities rather than reifying them.

  16. You understand that if you feel “triggered” or emotionally activated by conversations or activities in Crucible, this is an important opportunity for me to do your own work on yourself, not an opportunity to jump on the Drama Triangle and to see yourself as a Victim, Persecutor, or Rescuer of others.

  17. You agree that in the event of conflict with Carolyn or other Crucible leaders, you will Direct Message them privately about the conflict to have it addressed. You will not try to address conflicts or disagreements in the public forum. You understand that if you do this, you will be removed.

  18. You agree that your posts and activities in the Crucible forum remain part of the Crucible even after you depart for any reason. Of course you can also use writing and other work that you share in the Crucible forum for your own purposes and publish it elsewhere.

  19. You agree that you will not be demonizing or disparaging in your communications around conflict with Carolyn or other Crucible leaders or Crucible members, but rather you will practice expressing yourself with respect and generosity and kindness.

  20. You understand that you will be immediately removed from Crucible without refund or end to your financial obligation if you communicate in a demonizing or disparaging way with Carolyn or other Crucible leaders either in the Crucible forum, direct messages, on social media, or via any other medium.

  21. You agree to fulfill the financial obligation of this 12 month membership, understanding that you are still accepting this financial obligation even if you choose to leave participation in the space for any reason, and that disagreeing with views expressed by Carolyn or staff on social media or in the membership, not having time to do the work, feeling complete with the work, or otherwise losing interest, does not constitute an end to your financial obligation that you are agreeing to.

  22. You understand that you will continue to have your payment method charged and will be a member of the program even after your initial 12-month commitment has been completed until you message electricyes@carolynelliottpresents.com to ask to be removed before the next billing cycle.

  23. You agree to have your posts anonymized (edited to remove identifying information) and shared as testimonials on social media or used as teaching examples in conversations in the membership.

  24. You agree to practice experiencing all posts and conversations and activities in this membership and of Carolyn, other Crucible leaders, and staff on social media and in the Crucible forum as a direct mirror of your own divine consciousness creating the world.

  25. You understand the purpose of the forum is for me to share reflections, insights, wins, questions about your own process of doing the Great Work, and you understand the forum is not for debate.

General Terms & Conditions

1. Use of the Service

  1. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Service or any part of it for commercial purposes.

  2. You must only use the Service in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the provided materials and community space. Prohibited behavior includes harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any person, behaving in an unkind, disrespectful, or ungenerous manner in the online course community groups (on Facebook or otherwise), transmitting obscene or offensive content or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within the Service.

  3. Carolyn Elliott LLC reserves the right to make change to these Terms and Conditions from time to time and so you should check these Terms and Conditions regularly. Your continued use of the Service will be deemed acceptance of the updated or amended Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to the changes, you should cease using the Service.

  4. If there is any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and specific local terms appearing elsewhere on the Service (including community rules) then the latter shall prevail.

2. Amendments

1. Carolyn Elliott LLC reserves the right to make change to these Terms and Conditions from time to time and so you should check these Terms and Conditions regularly. Your continued use of the Service will be deemed acceptance of the updated or amended Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to the changes, you should cease using the Service.

  1. If there is any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and specific local terms appearing elsewhere on the Service (including community rules) then the latter shall prevail.

3. Registration

  1. In order to participate in and contribute to carolyngraceelliott.com or badwitch.es courses and communities including but not limited to INFLUENCE, THRILL, DARE, EARTH and MONEY you may be required to register with carolyngraceelliott.com and associated email services like Convertkit and check-out carts like SamCart. Any personal information supplied to Carolyn Elliott LLC as part of this registration process and/or any other interaction with scott-eaton.com will be collected, stored and used in accordance with Carolyn Elliott LLC’s privacy policy.

  2. To register for any online course through Carolyn Elliott LLC you must be over 18 years of age unless you have the explicit permission of your parent or guardian.

  3. You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete.

  4. You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering by updating your personal details in order that we can communicate with you effectively.

  5. All user accounts must be registered with a valid personal email address that you access regularly so that moderation emails can be sent to you. Accounts registered with someone else's email address, or with temporary email addresses may miss crucial communications or course materials, and for this Carolyn Elliott LLC is not responsible.

  6. Carolyn Elliott LLC reserves the right to remove any person from any online course community at any time, with no refund given. This action will usually only be taken in cases where the person has behaved in an unkind, disrespectful, or ungenerous manner to company representatives or other course participants.

  7. By registering for a course you are agreeing to pay the full amount of the course’s stated price. This means that if you cancel automatic PayPal payments, we have the right to refer your account to a collection agency to contact you to pay the rest of the course’s price, and this could negatively impact your credit score.

4. Intellectual property

  1. All copyright, trade marks, design rights, patents and other intellectual property rights (registered and unregistered) in and on Service and all content (including all applications and materials) located on or available through the Service shall remain vested in Carolyn Elliott LLC.

  2. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer, download, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public, or otherwise use Carolyn Elliott LLC website (including and not limited to: carolyngraceelliott.com, gritandgrace.today, badwitch.es) or online course (including and not limited to: INFLUENCE, THRILL, DARE, EARTH) content in any way except for your own personal, non-commercial use. You also agree not to adapt, alter or create a derivative work from any Carolyn Elliott LLC content except for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use of Carolyn Elliott LLC content requires the prior written permission of Carolyn Elliott LLC.

  3. The names, images and logos identifying Carolyn Elliott LLC or third parties and their products and services referenced are subject to copyright, design rights and trade marks of Carolyn Elliott LLC and/or third parties. Nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be construed as conferring any license or right to use any trade mark, design right or copyright of Carolyn Elliott LLC or any other third party.

5. Availability of the Service

  1. Although we aim to offer you the best service possible, we make no promise that the services available at Carolyn Elliott LLC will meet your requirements. We cannot guarantee that the Service will be fault-free. If a fault occurs with the Service you should report it to alchemy@carolynelliottpresents.com and we will attempt to correct the fault as soon as we reasonably can.

  2. Your access to the Service may be occasionally restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will attempt to restore the Service as soon as we reasonably can.

6. Carolyn Elliott LLC’s right to suspend or cancel your registration

  1. We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately at our reasonable discretion or if you breach any of your obligations under these Terms and Conditions.

  2. You can cancel your registration at any time by informing us in writing at alchemy@carolynelliottpresents.com. If you do so, you must stop using the Service.

  3. The suspension or cancellation of your registration and your right to use the Service shall not affect either party’s statutory rights or liabilities.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

  1. ALL CONTENT PROVIDED ON OR THROUGH THE SERVICE, INCLUDING THE INFORMATION, NAMES, IMAGES, PICTURES, LOGOS AND ICONS REGARDING OR RELATING TO CAROLYN ELLIOTT LLC, ITS PRODUCTS AND SERVICES (OR TO THIRD PARTY PRODUCTS AND SERVICES), IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND ON AN "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CAROLYN ELLIOTT LLC EXCLUDES ALL REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES (WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BY LAW), INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF SATISFACTORY QUALITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, COMPATIBILITY, SECURITY AND ACCURACY.   2. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS LIMITS OR EXCLUDES CAROLYN ELLIOTT LLC LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY ITS PROVEN NEGLIGENCE. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO IMPLEMENT SUFFICIENT PROCEDURES AND VIRUS CHECKS (INCLUDING ANTI-VIRUS AND OTHER SECURITY CHECKS) TO SATISFY YOUR PARTICULAR REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ACCURACY OF DATA INPUT AND OUTPUT.  

11. Applicable law

  1. These Terms and Conditions will be subject to the laws of the United States of America. We will try to solve any disagreements quickly and efficiently. If you are not happy with the way we deal with any disagreement and you want to take court proceedings, you must do so within the United States of America.

12. International use

  1. We make no promise that materials available on or through the Service are appropriate or available for use in locations outside the United States of America, and accessing the Service from territories where its contents are illegal or unlawful is prohibited. If you choose to access the Service from locations outside the United States of America, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

13. Miscellaneous

  1. If any of these Terms and Conditions are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these Terms and Conditions are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining Terms and Conditions shall survive and continue to be binding and enforceable.

  2. You may not transfer any of your rights under these Terms and Conditions to any other person. We may transfer our rights under these Terms and Conditions to another business where we reasonably believe your rights will not be affected.

  3. If you breach these Terms and Conditions and Carolyn Elliott LLC chooses to ignore this, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies at a later date or in any other situation where you breach the Terms and Conditions.

  4. Carolyn Elliott LLC shall not be responsible for any breach of these Terms and Conditions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Online Course - Terms of Use

These terms relate to the paid-for on-line training services supplied to you through the badwitch.es and carolyngraceelliott.com website (the “Online Course Service(s)”) and should be read in conjunction with our General Terms & Conditions above which shall also apply save where they are inconsistent with these terms.

1. Prices and payment

  1. Your order is an offer to purchase Online Course Services from us. The Online Course Service will be made available to you once your payment has been authorized and the course session has started. There will be no contract of any kind between you and us unless and until you make authorized payment for the Online Course Service. At any point up until then, we may decline to supply the Online Course Service to you without giving any reason.

  2. The fee for the Online Course Service is paid for via payment plan. The Company shall be under no obligation to provide the Online Course Service until the fee has been paid. When participants first register for a course, they are agreeing to pay the full amount of the course cost as listed on the registration page and check out cart. Failure to make full and timely payments will result in your account being referred to a Collections service and will negatively impact your credit score.

  3. All prices are expressed inclusive of any VAT payable unless otherwise stated.

  4. Your credit/ debit card details are not handled by Carolyn Elliott LLC.  All payment and all credit card handling is through the third party, PayPal Inc and Square. We do not store any credit card details. Authority for payment must be given at the time of placing your order.

2. Delivery

  1. Within 1 hours of purchase, a confirmation email will be sent to the customer acknowledging payment and successful enrollment in the course. If you should fail to see this welcome email within 1 hour of purchase, please contact Customer Service at alchemy@carolynelliottpresents.com

  2. Course materials will be delivered via email to the address given at registration, on the schedule listed on the course registration page.

3. Using the Online Course Service

  1. Please read the description for the Online Course Service carefully before placing your order as refunds cannot be given (see section 7 below).

  2. Carolyn Elliott LLC warrants that it has the right to provide the Online Course Service and will use all reasonable skill and care in making the Online Course Service available to you and in ensuring its availability. Because of the nature of the internet, errors and omissions do occur and Carolyn Elliott LLC does not give any other warranties in respect of the Online Course Service.

  3. Carolyn Elliott LLC is continually seeking to improve the Online Course Services. Carolyn Elliott LLC reserves the right, at its discretion, to make changes to any part of any Online Course Service provided that it does not materially reduce its content or functionality.

  4. In the event that Eaton Media withdraws or is permanently unable to deliver a particular Online Course Service a partial refund will be given covering the portion of the course that remains undelivered.

5. Fair use policy

  1. We operate a ‘fair use’ policy to protect the quality of our Online Course Services. If we believe your use of a Online Course Service is taking up excessive bandwidth (literal or metaphorical) or your use of a Online Course Service is adversely affecting the provision of the service (or any part of it) to other users, or other users’ enjoyment of the service, we reserve the right to manage or regulate your usage of the Online Course Service. This may include removing you from the online course community and/or ending your access to the Online Course Service.

6. No commercial use

  1. Subject to clause 4.2, all Online Course Services are available for private, personal, non-commercial use only. Carolyn Elliott LLC reserves the right to refuse orders from businesses that we consider are for commercial concerns. You may not re-sell or make available to any third party the Online Course Services without the prior written consent of Carolyn Elliott LLC.

7. Cancellation and refunds

  1. Refunds cannot be made for downloadable digital items, including Online Courses.

  2. You can be removed from any Online Course Community or Online Course Email list at any time at the discretion of Carolyn Elliott LLC. Again, this will usually only happen if you have behaved in an offensive or annoying manner (i.e., ungenerous, unkind, disrespectful) towards Carolyn Elliott LLC associates or to other online course participants. When it happens, though, it will happen immediately, without warning, and with no explanation or refund given. To avoid this, don’t be a jerk.

10. Interpretation

  1. In these terms “Carolyn Elliott LLC”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to Carolyn Elliott LLC a company registered in Pennsylvania, LLC and whose registered office address is at 2341 Orlando Place, Pittsburgh PA 15235.
