It's Time To Stop Being "Nice" And "Professional"

Hello everyone,

In my last message I talked about "the slog" and how yucky it feels - today I want to talk a bit about the alternative possibility.

I like to call it "turn-on."

It looks like this:

Opening your email inbox in the morning to find more requests for podcast and print interviews + clients wanting to work with you than you know what the flip to do with.

(a bit of an annoying problem, but a very nice one to have)

Feeling a little frisson chill of mischief vibrate up your spine as you hit "publish" or "send" on your latest piece - knowing that it's going to make waves.

Having a "wrap up" conversation with a client on Zoom - her voice is open, soft, her face is streaming tears, and she's letting you know how much your work together changed her life in the precise way it most needed changing.

Deciding you're going to go work in Miami for a week (or heck, Bali for a few months) because it's winter and you're so done with snow - and you have ample funds to cover this excursion.

Even if you're in the slog right now - all of that and more is possible for you in the coming year.

The key is lies in changing how you see yourself and how you present yourself - at a gut-level - so that you know, and the world knows, that you're a heroine / hero on a gripping mission...

.... weaving a story and a world and a set of transformations that are next-to-impossible to look away from.

Here's a major bit of it: give deep permission to the part of yourself that's bold, hungry, shameless and unstoppably determined to get what you want.

Why do I recommend this? Because that unstoppable quality is endlessly magnetic, and it's within each of us...

.... we mostly just cover it up to be "nice" and "professional." Don't. Stop that. Come out.

There's a lot of ways to reach this major change in how you see yourself and how you let the world see you via your online presence…

.... and if you'd like the support of an amazing group of peers plus intensive guidance and instruction from me on getting there, THRILL - the course on growing your online audience and getting paid, is still open for registration for a limited time.

best,

Carolyn

P.S. Remember, THRILL closes for registration at 11:59pm EST on Thursday, November 18th. So if you're thinking about joining us - please do click here to learn more and sign up before it's too late.
