if you feel stuck it's not because you're slacking

I've heard thousands of leaders and influencers over the years blame themselves for the stuckness that they feel in not knowing how to get to the next level in their lives and business.

These are self-responsible, focused people, the rare kind of humans who are willing to own up to short-comings - so they notice they're not getting the kind of thriving bounty that they want, and they conclude it's their fault and they're "doing it wrong."

They feel like they're not working hard enough or not using the right tactics to get the kind of fulfillment and accomplishment they want in life.

But "not working hard enough" is never the real trouble with folks who are born to lead.

The real trouble is that they're not being held and supported by people who can truly see, feel, and celebrate them in their fullness.

They don't need to work harder; they need hilarious revelation and life-changing connection with others on their level.

They need a committed group of peers who can tease them out of their doubts and fears, ask them penetrating questions that break through their walls, and give wild approval to their darker parts.

They need to learn how to hold and enjoy the paradox of everything that they are: altruistic and power-hungry, foolish and wise, loving and ruthless.

In short, they need alchemical community to lift them up.

And genuine alchemical community, alas, is damn hard to find.

On the one hand, in most spiritual circles, folks are in rabid denial of their kinks and their darknesses (have you noticed?) - they can't give you clear, joyful reflections of your genius and power...

... because they're very afraid of their own. So weird passive aggression abounds. Ugh.

Oh, Carl, you slay me

On the other hand, in most co-working and business communities, folks are so committed to their own materialist muggledom that it's frankly tragic.

And then there's the interesting land of go-getters who have a spiritual bent, but it's allllll about the Law of Attraction and positive thinking and plastering glitter rainbows over giant piles of merde.

In pondering all this, and thinking about how my own success came out of an alchemical community (which alas, has since dissolved) I decided to create something different than I've ever created before.

In the past I've offered short-term courses - and I still might offer courses again.

But now, starting this April (with registration open only March 9th - 16th) I'm creating an alchemical community that's built to last - it's called WEALTH.

One of the exciting features of the WEALTH community are multiple monthly Power-Ups - these are super-fun, high-energy communication games designed to build intimacy, connection - and hilarious revelation.

It was through playing the Power-Up games that I first started to trust my own strength and magnetism as a leader, so I'm very excited to make this available.

I'll have much more to say about WEALTH soon ;)

In the meantime...

... on her podcast Touchy Topics, the wonderful intimacy coach Megan Lambert got me and my husband Taia talking about how we excavate shadowy desires in our relationship to deepen our connection.

You can listen our conversation with Megan about shadowy desires right here.

And likewise, you'll want to check out the charming Victor Furhman and me talking about the ins and outs of Existential Kink on his Destination Unlimited OmTimes radio show - you can listen right here.
