the profundity of the Jewel Net
Hello,
It's often been my experience that the most exciting thing that can happen in the life of a magical person is...
... a profound meeting with another magical person.
For this reason I often think about a phenomenon that I call The Jewel Net.
Now technically the Jewel Net is another name for Indra's Web - and Indra's Web is a metaphor for all existence as an interconnected web of multi-faceted gems - an image for the way all beings holographically contain and reflect all others.
But I like to think of the Jewel Net as the web of people around the world, now and in the past and future, who are deliberately cultivating their magic.
The gems that are brightly shining.
Sometimes there's a movement in the Jewel Net, and dozens or hundreds of magical people come together - for a festival, a party, a riot.
Often times I dream about another person in the Jewel Net before I meet them in real life.
As D.H. Lawrence said, "The only aristocracy is the aristocracy of consciousness."
It makes sense to me then, that those humans who have cultivated their consciousness....
.... somehow seem to be alive within one another's dreams, pulsating and interwoven, an aristocratic society throwing balls in one another's psyches.
Of course it's the greatest fun to have fated, destined, surprise meetings with other magical people in the jewel net. Yet it can also be wonderful to encounter them on purpose.
It’s been wonderful to see this happening with all the new members of WEALTH as they blend into the community and bring their own unique magic and being into our space.
