The trick to magick that lights you up from inside

Maybe you're in this situation:
... the Llewellyn paperbacks in the Occult section of the book store are leaving you uninspired
... plus most stuff advertising itself as magic just looks to you like another flavor of religion or "transcendence"-obsessed New Age junk...
... plus nobody you know is into magic... or you get the sense that your magically-inclined friends aren't really getting the results they would like either...
... so you're uncertain how to really delve in and get started with something that works, or perhaps bored with what you once learned and enjoyed...
... I feel you intensely in that frustration. I was there for years myself.
This is a huge part of why I teach magic today - I don't want anyone else to have to stay in that mire of frustration as long as I did.
After I went mad, quit my job, and gave away my apartment and all my stuff some years ago -
...I found I really had nothing left to do other than doggedly figure out what the fuck would actually work.
....and why the stuff I already knew to do - produced such terribly mixed results.
... so I did. I figured it out.
... it only took me about $30,000, some time inside the most far-out sex cult the Western World currently has to offer (think: pythons, red velvet auditoriums, naked ladies, 32nd degree Masons), and some heart break.
... It was all worth it though, because along the way, I discovered: it turns out that the trick to the whole art of practical magic is the knack of uniting your will...
... which is fairly simple to say and rather challenging to do, because uniting your will involves getting your conscious mind on the same side as your shadowy unconscious.
... but that's it. That's the trick.
